The protocol aims to support, care for, and treat Alzheimer's patients and the elderly, expand the scope of health and social services provided to them, and raise community awareness of their issues.
The cooperation protocol covers several areas, most notably organizing training courses and awareness seminars for families and medical and social personnel, launching specialized medical convoys for the most needy groups, and raising community awareness of issues related to aging and Alzheimer's disease. In this context, Dr. Ahmed El-Feki, CEO of Al-Baqiyat Al-Salihat Association, said: "Signing this protocol reflects our deep belief in the importance of development partnerships between civil society organizations and entities active in community service. He added, "Through our cooperation with the Rotary Club of Cairo Golf Madinaty, we seek to expand integrated care programs for Alzheimer's patients and the elderly, improving their quality of life and strengthening the state's efforts in this area."
El-Feki pointed out that this cooperation embodies the role of Al-Baqiyat Al-Salihat Association as an active member of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, in building effective bridges of cooperation with civil society organizations and the private sector, with the aim of supporting the elderly and Alzheimer's patients as a human and societal value deserving of all forms of care and attention.
For her part, Dr. Iman El-Ghamrawy, President of the Rotary Club of Cairo Golf Madinaty, emphasized: "We are proud of this partnership with Al-Baqiyat Al-Salihat Association, as it represents a pioneering model in serving the elderly and Alzheimer's patients in Egypt. Through this protocol, we affirm our commitment to supporting initiatives that have a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable groups."
Al-Ghamrawy noted that the protocol reflects a shared vision between the two parties to combine efforts and resources to effect tangible and sustainable change, whether through medical convoys, training and awareness programs, or providing an integrated support system for families and patients.
